MISSION STATEMENT

Back in the day, I think I’d’ve really liked reading a blog that gave me an insight into the murky, mysterious and enticing world of publishing. So, past self, this blog is for you and anyone similar.

Each month I aim to:

• Introduce our new titles and explain the reason behind the commissioning
• Post interviews with interesting publishing peeps
• Blather on (helpfully, I hope) about book stuff - anything varying from books I could eat for breakfast to ranting about bad fonts
• Answer any questions sent to me at catnipbooks(at)googlemail.com

Anything I can do to make the publishing process a bit more transparent can’t be a bad thing, right?
